Sunday Sunday Sunday

Next Sunday will mark our first convention/comic show... ever. We're going to try to make the table worth visiting, even if we only have copies of the first issue as our main event. We don't even have Mike around to draw some sketches for people. Still, it's going to be fun, and we're looking forward to reeling people into our twisted little 'verse.

Here's a taste of what you might expect to find when you come to Clifton (it's free!):

Also just finished the first draft of the second issue. Should be ready with a "shooting draft" next week sometime. I don't know what a greenlit comic script would be called, so I'm using movie terms. Whatever!

Hero Spy

The good people over at Hero Spy gave us a really nice write-up on their site today. I recommend checking them out and enjoying some of the great reviews and forum chats they have to offer! They should have a review of the comic sometime soon. When I know, you'll know.

Clifton Comic Show

Just got in touch with John Paul, and it looks like Horsemen will be appearing at the Clifton Comic Show in Clifton, NJ on March 9th! We'll be working hard to make it worth coming to visit. The book will, of course, be on sale at the event! It goes from 10 A.M to 4 P.M. and admission is free!

For any info about the event, here's the link.

Possible Conventioneering

Thanks to the more-than-generous attention made by Mike Parker and Mike Lunsford, we've made a few more sales and hopefully, a few more interested participants (I hesitate to call them "fans" as of yet). This is definitely encouraging.

At this point, we're hoping to hit up a few conventions and spread the word around. We've been generously offered a table over at the Mid-Jersey Comic Con (mid-August), which is pretty exciting. I think we'll be sharing a table with some old friends.

We're hoping to wind up at the Clifton or Fairfield shows (both in mid-t0-late March), but we've apparently lost contact with the coordinator. Last time we heard, he seemed interested. If you'd like to see Horsemen at either shows, politely contact John Paul (PUGPRDCTNS@aol.com) and ask if we'll be present. It may help.

And in keeping with tradition, I'll also be appearing at the 3rd annual New York Comic Con (as a guy who likes going to comic book conventions), along with my girlfriend and mutual friends. I'll bring a few copies of the book and any other promotional materials I can think of bringing along that might spread the word a bit.

That's more or less it, as far as current comic book shows are concerned. When something interesting happens, or I have anything particularly interesting to say, expect an update.

Later!
